Are you serious right now? This person is looking on how to make sure they dont run out of money, not invest in something that will make money in months, with negligible increase in total price, after who knows how much time.

Maybe try to piggyback off an upcoming movie release, and sell some copyright protected stuff, fast and done. Don't hang around long enough to get those C&D Letters

Easier to save money than it is to make it. $1k will probably last you a month. So get rid of unnecessary expenses. Cigarettes, beer, Starbucks, netflix, Hulu, Spotify premium, Amazon prime.. these were all these I got rid of when times were tough. (Doesn't always have to be forever. But you'd be surprised how better you feel when you minimalize your life style) After that, get a game plan going on how to make money. But seriously.. you need to learn how to manage money first.
