Yes if you build backlinks to them.Sometimes they rank sometime they don't.The key is testing to see what works.

You create a blog post on an authority site with a link pointing to your YouTube url or create a video embed.I usually hire virtual assistant to do this because I hate building backlinks myself.

You can either use automated tools like GSA to build backlinks to your Youtube video, or if you do not have any tools in your arsenal, you can try sourcing for a PBN provider over the marketplace for these links. Try building more authority over your Youtube video and that should help bump up the ranking in Google in the process.

Youtube is a parasite site, so making links to YT is the same as making links to a parasite. The common belief is you can throw nearly any kind of link at it, as the authority behind the site will assure you are not penalized. The site cannot be penalized this is true, can the page be penalized? if you go crazy, I think it can.
In short linking to YT is like linking to any other site, plus you can add more spammy links in the mix.

You're right, it's like any other parasite. I've currently got a video ranking on page 1, position 2 for a low comp kw, but a tidy amount of searches each month. The key is the velocity of the links. Too quick and it'll get blasted out of the serps. The description really is a big factor here and should be done properly rather than a poorly (and quickly) written blurb as is the title and the tags.
I think that's the part that a lot of people forget about when it comes to parasites. Just because they're not using it rank your website doesn't mean it should be high quality content that you're boosting.
OP, I'd also steer clear of fake views. Sooner or later they'll get pulled and then you're back to square one again. The views option used to be a great way to rank a video, but not so much anymore. If you're wanting to go down the blackhat route then treat it like a parasite. Doing it the whitehat way is taking a long time now.

Very true long descriptions do have a great effect on ranking,I write long articles that have keywords in them without stuffing them,you can write up to 5000 characters.Brought views still works in ranking views but the main problem is maintaining the ranking when traffic is stopped.I miss the old days that you buy 10k views and easily get in to suggested videos on a budget,
