Update FollowLiker?

Hey all, I've scaled back on IG lately and have been out of the loop on the FL drama. My copy seems to still be working without kicking up their $5 a month demand. Is this because I haven't updated yet?

Does anyone know of any necessary changes from their patches? Seems I've avoided their new monthly fees by not updating, but I just want to make sure it's safe to run

If you purchased prior to the introduction of the new monthly charge then you have been grandfathered and don't need to pay it and can update.

So they agreed on that finally? I already paid two months of subscription even being an old user. So should I just now cancel the subscription from Paypal and it will still work for next month?

What? I never entered another billing agreement. Just continued to use the service and updated FL. The whole drama was concluded in the SL thread. You are free to use it and not pay for it extra.

I read this thread above and dont get it. Why are people butthurting about this monthly subscription? 6$ per month for this awesome software is like nothing...
People make hundreds or thousands of dollars per month thanks to FollowLiker. Dont be so gready guys.

The problem was that they advertised a lifetime license or rather ''one time payment'' and then wanted to charge monthly ON TOP of the alerady 99$ + VAT they took, and it was not in the terms. After a lot of discussions, the FL staff understood it was not worth getting banned on BHW and getting chargebacks and do not force you to pay extra, if you had purchased it before the change. Basically your license is grandfathered. Not sure how it works for clients after September 9.

Does anyone know how to update followliker? I was sent the installation file for a new version. So I need to uninstall my current version then install the new one? Also, is there a way to back up my current projects before doing this?

You need to restart the program to update or check to update it. You can also just uninstall and install the new file I suppose.

I think followliker saved the projects in a roaming folder, but I'm not sure. I once tried to recover my projects but did not succeed.

Not yet. I checked today but still no luck!

One of my accounts suddenly stopped unfollowing. In the statistics it shows that it unfollowed a certain amount of people but in reality it hasn't. Do you know whats wrong?
