I remember giving away free review copies on several forums to establish myself, and to get some work.
With some free time in hand, I decided to have a look at some of the free review copies which were submitted years back to gauge improvement in my writing skill.
Much to my surprise, I found that few of these articles were not used at all. They cleared copyspace with flying colors.
Free samples attract every tom, dick and harry. People request them even if they don't intend to use them.
If you have given away free samples in the past then check your harddisk you might find few articles unused. I found 5 articles so far, and I submitted them on AC today.
