Hi,

I find myself doing almost nothing after posting new prost/article on my site.

Most of the time I share it on social networks (or use a WordPress plugin to do it).

But it take time till I can see my post on google search engine aka index my page:
site:sitename.ext

What are the recommended steps do to after posting new post on site.
Like:
1. Share on socials.
2. Resend sitemap to google (do sitemap still play a part).
3. Create a backlink to that page.
4. ???

For new site (first month).

For old sites...

Any recommendations will be very appreciated.

I would say:
1. yes, this does not hurt
2. likewise yes
3. likewise it cannot hurt
4. you can send more than 1 link, you can interlink it from pages in your site, you can do some outreach and use this post as the link, you can make a video, upload it and put the link in it, you can make blog comments and use this as a link, etc

difference old new? not much difference except with new site it will not rank as easily.

Check your site loading speed.

Make sure that your site is mobile user friendly. Since Google also crawls the mobile version of the website.

sent some social signals and then add content to your page and then start building links .......

The sitemap should be updated automatically. In webmaster tools you only tell Google the URL of the sitemap, which does not change when posting sth.

OP,
Have you read any of the off page seo guides on here at all in your 7 1/2 years on here?

Yes I read about off page.

Just wanted to check what other are doing and works for them, as it take much more time to get new post index by G, in the following year+, even for older sites, even when Yoast show green on SEO and Readability.

One of the changes I made in my post was to make them longer with long relevant keyword, but that not help, only time...

Thanks,
darklich.

Spam Spam Spam

I actually thought about it, buy GSA and/or SeoNuke blasts, or even use my Scrapebox.

But if I use that it probably index the post faster, but it will burn the domain in the long run.

That why I try to find other method not to burn the domain for the long run and for authority :)

Thanks,
darklich.

Haha, I was kidding. Was in a funny mood. Glad that you didn't take that seriously.

Focus on building 3 tiers for your site. Let the first tier be web 2.0, let's say 10 web 2.0s, then back each of them with 10 web 2.0s, meaning a 100 more. Blast those 100s with GSA ser links, this should work well if you're trying to get rankings on google, however, depends on your competition. But you know it, if you want better results, scale up your tier qualities ;)

Keep Posting.

Make sure your Title, description are in place. Link it on social media and then keep posting more.

I am not really sure what is going on why your new post is not being indexed. But below are the steps I do.

1. Link my new post to an older post that is indexed already.
2. Share it on Social Medialike FB, IG, Twitter, Reddit.
3. Submit the url to google.

After couple of minutes my posts are indexed.

Try finding popular related articles from competitors, research if anyone is linking to them and then see how you can end up on their page.
