So, my domain was banned on a subreddit. How can I bypass this?

Any Reddit experts can shed some light on this problem?

Thanks!!!!!

buy a $0.88 domain and redirect it to your old domain.

There is no magic trick fellah! Invest some time get in touch with sub reddit moderator and ask if you can place your content! Or if its hard for ya, try to place your links correctly in the right place! Don't spam and keep yourself under the radar 3/5 posts a week seems natural. Get on skype reddit groups and ask people to upvote your link ;)

Is this a fact or just guessing? :)

I don't do Reddit, so i wouldn't know. But OP can test it with an url shortener too, if that doesn't work, a simple domain redirect won't work either and practically he's left with the option of cloaking or using a different domain. Alternatively he can captcha/password lock the redirection, so even if Reddit follows the redirection, it won't be able to get to the destination url.

where i can find such a group.

Only subreddit mods can unbann it but probably they won't do any exception. What ever you do they will remove link manually if the subreddit is moderated properly.

Are you sure that your domain is banned, maybe just your username is shadow banned.

It works for shadowban, thats all I know. And url shorteners are banned on almost every subreddit.

I can imagine the popular ones to be blocked, but there are fairly unknown ones or new ones created, they most certainly can't ban them all.

you can make our own short url service private one and use it on Reddit .or .88$ domain with masked redirect

Very true, you could produce like 100s of these with GSA shortner within seconds.

Bit.ly the URL or use any URL shortener? That is my first thought... or URL shorten a shortened URL if it detects the first one.

PM the mod, they're usually very open to discussion. Be careful on some of the big subreddits, the mods are pretty corrupt and often own their own competing sites that they post there.

What subreddits have you successfully messaged the mods with a good response?

Some domain bans are global and only admins can clear them.
