Newbie trying to increase viewcount on a single YT video

I've been a fan for a few days, but this is my first post. Please pardon my ignorance from my question.

I am featured on a YouTube video on a channel that has 9 million subscribers. I do not own the channel, and my video does have advertisements on it by the owner. My video currently has 25K views after three months. I am interested in increasing this viewcount, as I show the video to potential employers, and many regard the viewcount as a measure of quality.

Is it worth it to purchase some high retention views? I am only looking for a higher viewcount. How this affects subscribers for the channel does not affect me obviously.

Any advice is appreciated, and again, I apologize for my ignorance here.

Well you can try using a YT video count bot, and equip that bot with residential proxies, in order to bump the video view counter. The key here is using residential proxies, as these proxies are more natural to YT as opposed to datacenter-type of proxies, and it should register as a valid view accordingly.

Thank you! I am not familiar with that process though. I am very new to this. I have seen some websites offering high retention views. I am just concerned because of the advertisements on the channel, and don't want to hurt the video. I do not own the channel, so am not worried about any subscribers.
