which vps is better? linode or turnkey internet

Ping is only based on your location. Pinging a location has very little to do with the speed persay. Where is your target audience? Also, linode is hands down better in probably every category but price.

If you are looking for stable and reputable provider, if you want to host on your vps "mission critical" stuff - linode is better.
If you are looking for cheapest VPS you can find take a look on lowendtalk or lowendbox

I have never used either one of them. But I can tell you that linode has a better rep.

you could always go cheaper option but 9 times out of 10 it will cost you more in the long rung. Downtime, support and so on

Linode is pretty good in terms of performance, if you can afford the price, it is worth it. They could improve their web interface though.

Perhaps I'm the only one who has used Turnkey Internet and not linode. My experience with turnkey has been excellent. Never had a moment of downtime. Customer service response was fast (even spoke to someone over the phone) and the black friday prices are the best I've ever seen. I'm not in love with their terms of use nor their refund policy (industry standard I suppose). But I would not knock them for it.

I used their host for a few month provided by one of my friends and got like 100% Uptime Taking about turnkey
