Hello! I just published a video and when it was unlisted, I sent out around 5k+ views, likes and comments, and then set it to public. It's not much views or likes but I'm matching the #5 top video in my niche, so I at least should be ranking for something. That's not the case, I'm not even ranking for my exact title keyword. What could be going on in here?

Thanks

Bot traffic my friend... YouTube (Google) is smarter than you think.

I already ranked a video with that same traffic, that video is still up and ranked correctly, so it's not the traffic.

it depends on the competition, if your niche has high competition 5k views is not enough

There are ALOT of factors that go into ranking a video on YouTube, not just views, likes and comments. For example, were the views worldwide and if so, what countries exactly? How many likes did you add to your video and how many comments? Were the comments manual from the same IP or did you purchase them from a panel?

Additionally, what did you do on page seo-wise? If you're trying to rank for 'best gaming headset', I would advise that you include the keywords in your title once (or twice if possible), in your description two to four times, and in your tags. Make sure your description is unique as well. It might be beneficial to copy your competitors tags and utilize some of the same keywords they did in their description, in your's.

Regarding the unlisted method, here's some advice: don't bot everything while the video is unlisted. What I typically recommend is botting 1/3 to 1/2 of the services while unlisted, then while the views and whatnot are still being botted, switch the video's status to public.

If you dumped all of your views down on the video at once it may have trouble holding its position in the search results as well. You need to be doing 5K views over at least a couple of hours time.

It's always best to bot MORE views, likes, comments, shares, backlinks, etc. then the video that you're trying to outrank has. In saying that, if you have good on page optimization and bot the right kind of services, you can get away with botting less views than your competitor and still manage to rank above them.

Good luck!

You have some very good advice! I just didn't understand this very well. You mean that, for example, if I were to send 100k views to a video, I should only send 30k-50k while unlisted and after that, make it public and send the rest of the views?

I bet the unlisted method was done wrong .....

exsplain how you added the video unlisted in step via step.

remember done wrong even a step it won't work .....

can confirm unlisted still working fine...

Yes, that's how I always do it now. I've done alot of testing personally as has my business partner and we've found that doing some botted services unlisted then the rest while public works better than doing all of the services while the video is unlisted. I will be doing a public case study here in a few weeks once I have the time but at this stage you'll have to just take my word for it (or better yet, do some testing of your own) :)

whats is a good HR slow drip view service? the one i use now all comes at once very fast

I am currently working with a private supplier so don't have a personal recommendation newage51.

I'd suggest checking out the marketplace here on BHW, there are alot of people offering botting services for YouTube. I have had a positive experience with smmstore.pro however it was a while ago now. They have an ad in the marketplace section.

Before dropping any money on botting, you need to do more research to understand how to rank videos effectively and without putting your channel at high risk of termination, otherwise you're just throwing away money.

Man, thanks for all the info. I will also be doing testing on my own, I would like to find out what works best, if you would like to exchange info PM me your skype.

Thanks again!

Well, what I did was leave the video inactive for around 16 hours, then I set it to public and sent the views, that was most likely the problem. I did it wrong

The views must be consistent when you change from unlisted to public. If your channel is new it takes about 3 days or more for Youtube to index the views to change the rankings, because the delay in the video search counter. The bigger the channel the better the effect.
