Hey fellow BHW family, I'm genuinely interested in one site: Beatport. Would someone be kind enough to show me or talk to me about how these small artists and smaller label break the top 100 charts? I think I get it: pre paid cards, proxies... but how do they actually do it? I'm talking about beyond a quick small paragraph reply here. Would someone be friendly enough to help explain? It's probably similar to what people do to game soundcloud, though I've never used beatport. Try searching for soundcloud seo guides and see what looks similar to beatport's functionality. Strategies may overlap.

Thanks Thop, ya I've considered that but on Beatport I think it's sales based to be on the charts....I'm just so interested and don't even want to use it for profit...I just want to know. It's been years.

But... if you succeed you could write the first BHW beatport guide, on the bright side.

Good thought! Ya there are a ton of people on here that apparently will do it for you (chart your music) but no one explains how they do it. I assume it is just like iTunes charting and such...I'm willing to burn cash, just don't know how to start. Do I buy proxies? How do I open multiple account quickly? Do I need multiple cars cards?

You might want to look into a headless browser and automate some tasks as well... maybe build some imacros. But first you need to figure out the tasks you want to perform, then figure out how to do it without getting banned. Then figure out how to automate.

Thanks, thats a better start than I had an hour ago. Can you recommend where to get this stuff? I mean I know "on here" (this site) but what companies are actually good/user friendly to a passive Black Hat guy like myself?

That is something you need to work out. You will probably need high quality proxies, as for account creation use Microwork sites.
As a small test you could use Micro work/Micro job sites.

We did this just recently. Instead of proxies it might be wiser to use residential ips since proxies shows their ips coming from data centers.

And you would need a lot of prepaid cards for making the purchases. Much much easier than needing a lot of paypal accounts.

thank you so much. So I will secure residential IPs, lots of prepaid cards but what else would I need?

So basically it's like this, I need to:

purchase email addresses linked to beatport accounts with prepaid cards attached to those accounts. I would also need to have all of this "covered" under residential IPs.

Then automate the process with key commands.

would you say in general, for someone passionate yet novice and looking to mess around on a smaller site that this is how to start? Is there anything else you can think of that I would need?
