How much do you make per month? (lol not again)

how much do i make a month from IM right now? pretty shitty, like less than $1k, but i'm building it up. my problem is my business model is slow as fuck unless i invest like $50+ a day to scale up. and right now i don't have that kind of money, so i make snail progress. also i need to reprice all my products so that i can still sell some of my old shit. plus i work 8 hours a day. so yeah, life is hard. if i were no lifing with no work/responsibilities like i use to during the summer i'd have a better handle on this

1000$ average from a 9-5 job :). from a 3rd world country. :)

I stand by my comments.

I'm not saying it is wrong but I am saying it is socially unacceptable.

I would not ask my butcher how much he makes.

I would not ask my mechanic how much he makes.

I would not ask how much the landscaper who takes care of the lawn 2 houses down he makes.

It's an intrusive question.

I know a lot of the sellers here on BHW on a personal level and would not ask what they make.

Again, you'll get trolled but consider that what you are asking is not acceptable in IRL society and is probably not acceptable in online society.

I understand and respect your point. But I feel like this is pretty different from asking someone you know personally (like your mechanic) in real life -

The biggest difference is that he's not asking anyone in particular directly; he's basically saying "hey, I need some motivation and to those who are comfortable sharing, I'd like to ask how much you're making"

The other difference is that even if he were asking directly, the online world, especially forums is usually pretty anonymous (sometimes it isn't)

But lastly, nobody has to respond if they don't want to - that's the beauty of it. I agree, asking someone in real life is pretty rude if you ask me, but in this case I'd say it's socially acceptable. IMO.

Don't think anyone will really tell you their earning without any conflict of interest really, if i am making 1k per day, i wouldn't want tons of noobs spying me on my activities here.

this is really good for new IM and/or for those like me who's been for this business for a long time but with no success. It will help us get motivated and not stop until we are successful like the rest of you guys here. :-)

The question is how to define "make" anyway. I know a guy "making" $300K a year in sales, boiling down to $10K of real profit (before taxes) per month for a 60 hour week. Now, that's around $40 an hour. Sounds a lot less impressive than the $300K a year.

Bottom line: These kinds of threads are pointless without knowing the work involved, the expenses and investment involved, how long someone is doing this, the country your are living in, the taxes.

Good one.

OP, you do realise that people will lie? What motivation can you get from liars?
Those that are really killing it tend not to have a need to brag about it.
BTW Tell me how much your Mum makes.
