Hi guys,

over the past couple of days i'm experiencing huge decrease in reach and especially today..

Do you have the same issue here? i'm pretty sure that is yet another fb inconsistency

Cheers

Seems that their algorithm needs improvement cause it's not stable at all

Reach is a bit below average but not that bad, what we experienced though that fb is hiding random post. We use postcron to schedule posts and there it says the post was published sucessfully but then it does not appear on fb.

Maybe autopost is somehow under fb's radar now
I'll check it
If someone else has additional info let us know

the reach is too low this week , they say facebook will do a radical change , adding ads on whatsapp and messanger , better to stop spending on facebook ads at moment .

Absolutely right, I've also experienced huge decrease (>60%) in reach even in fb ads, so it's not a good idea to have active ads right now

Do you think that this radical change has to do with reach?

@rush1a what do you exactly mean by saying "post cron"?

I have noticed on a few pages I manage that auto-posted content from things like Buffer or SNAP gets close to 0 reach.

3 Weeks ago I had Zero Reach by Algorythm Mistake.
After 7 days, I recovered my reach, but just the half of it, posting High Quality Posts. (Before I was reaching 400k per post, and now luckily 150k)

I spend money on Facebook ads and the situation did not get better...

¿Do you have any idea how to solve this issue, or why it's happening this?

postcron.com is a tool to schedule post on social networks, it makes posting to multiple fb pages easy. Its ideal if you have a lot of fb pages, you can even bulk upload posts through a csv file.

@rush1a
thanks

@Frankie Ville
it's obvious that they did something and limit the reach. I don't how to get over this strange fb's behavior. The proportion of the decrease is also the same to me almost 1/5 of the original traffic reach.
Today is still the same.

That is sad crooked Facebook as usual.They are so greedy they are robbing from the advertisers which turns my heart from ever buying ads on their platform.

totally agree, they are playing with all the community not giving a damn - very professional approach - tby applying and trying different code at "live" environment!

today things are slightly better..

even if your page faced zero reach before or not, even if you post manually, schedule via fb scheduler or post with 3rd party software, reach is extremely low (by 50%) and there is a problem for sure.

@Frankie Ville
i would suggest to post (not schedule) something completely manual and check the reach.. it should be better..
for now the only thing we can do is try

Reach is getting worse and worse over the weekend till now, during the weekend we had 50% of our regular traffic, today its more like only 30%. What about you guys?

@rush1a thanks for the feedback

don't know what they 're doing but today (at least for me) seems to be back to normal (?)

maybe this is an exception, we need more feedback from other guys also to have the full picture..
