I'm 22, in this generationa ll i see is the super rich kids on youtube, i'm living in a super rich ass place so all i see around me are nice cars and successful people. then there's me. all but homeless trying to get a new job while trying to go through court for reckless driving and felony evasion from the police, which in the process totaled my car. insurance didn't cover me. i'm trying to pursue youtube so fucking hard. i've dumped my last dollar into hr views. idfk. what have you done to keep you head up when life is raping you over and over..?

Comparison is the thief of joy. Compare yourself to your past self, not other people.
that's good advice, but from 19-21 i was running my own business had a nice car, life was great. so my past makes me fucked up too.

Reckless driving? It's totally your fault. Just sayin'. Just like felony, no? Yes, stop comparing yourself to others. You are unique. You don't know how much struggled those rich kids on YouTube. It could be that they were born in rich family. It could be that they tried for several years to become this famous. You don't know.

Also, if you are pursuing Youtuber's career, buying views is a MASSIVE mistake. You won't become famous with fake views. You need quality content.

Also, stop comparing yourself to others (again). People could be like flowers - blossom next to each other without competition.

If u can find the cause of ur bad feelings then it's not depression, just tryhard and u will get it brah.

Competition is a losing game. Don't compete, dominate your space and do the best you can do. The fact is there will always be a bigger jet, a faster car, a bigger checking account, and a bigger dick. Don't play that game..

So your business went down? I don't know the details about your current situation. However, life can be hard sometimes. But it will get better if you believe in yourself and do something e.g. learn, work and build something up

If you've built a successful business in the past, you can again.

Don't view your current situation as "shity". It's a MAJOR learning experience that you will have for life. It's character building.

Also another thing, stop thinking this YT "rich kids" don't have problems of their own. Perhaps even bigger than yours, health issues, major family issues and so forth - a billion things.

Best of luck on your character building journey - it'll be worth it in the end.

Stop watching shitty Youtube videos.

You are 22 kid.

Trust me, life has more times it's going to fuck you so sack up and deal with it. And learn to not give a fuck about what you have or what other's think. Life ain't about the shit you acquire.

The quicker you do these things the quicker you will dig out of your depression and enjoy life in the moment.

Sounds to me like you wrecked your own life. Stupid is as stupid does.

Nevertheless, we have all made big mistakes in life that we've had to pay for and move past.

That which does not kill us and all that jazz.

You'll be fine. And stop watching idiots pretend to be important. That's a sign of someone who has an empty life.

70 posts since friday? Wow.

Maybe you should turn the PC off and focus on something that will bring you what you need. You say you're homeless? Dude an internet forum won't fix anything for you.

If you have just spent your last money on YouTube views I genuinely don't know what to say. The delusion is strong.

Social media shows the highlights of peoples lives. Do you think people would watch videos on a 45 year old eating a microwave meal for 1 crying about what he could have been or what he should have done... No.

If you're comparing people to the highlight reel of their lives you're never going to be happy. That 15 minute video of a rich kid in a ferrari or whatever could be the best thing he ever achieves.

Comparing your life to their life through social is stupid. They could have been 22 and homeless also.

i'm living in a super rich ass place so all i see around me are nice cars and successful people.

No, all you notice is nice cars and what you perceive as successful people.

all but homeless trying to get a new job while trying to go through court for reckless driving and felony evasion from the police

Maybe you should have respected the law then, sounds like karma.

which in the process totaled my car. insurance didn't cover me.

Is this anyones fault but yours?
