Hey there fellas,, i have a quick question regarding
paypal transactions,

We had a client that deposited 2 big transaction on our page!,, he got the in-panel funds and starting ordering,
But on paypal its still says " Pending" nothing suscpicious hes profiles are all too notch quality and all hes orders seems to be legit!! Should i concern or should i freeze hes balance until i recive the $$$? "The sender bank" the deposit from this bank

I think you should wait and tell him that it's pending

That sounds like an echeck: https://www.paypal.com/us/selfhelp/article/i-sent-an-echeck,-but-the-payment-is-pending.-why-faq572

You might want to pause all actions for that buyer until the echeck clears and the payment gets credited to your PayPal account (3-6 business days). If the buyer asks why, you can explain it to him/her, that his/her payment is pending and you can't allow him/her to use the service until the funds are credited to you. You can't possibly know whether he/she has enough money on his/her bank account to cover the echeck or no, if he/she doesn't, the payment will be cancelled.

The point is hes card just not verified,, so automaticly its become a bank transaction, not an e cheack, thats what wierd because previously had nothing like this even at the same amounts

The email related to some car manufactorer,
Dunno ill wait as you said thanks guys:p

if i to answer that.. inform him and freeze account temporarily until further notice...

Yea, that's what exactly an echeck is, a payment funded by a bank account. The reason doesn't really matter, whether the buyer doesn't have a credit card added or the card is unverified.

I was getting these from a not fully verified business account some time ago, just as you say, the credit card wasn't verified and payments came from a bank account. Those echecks cleared though within the allowed time frame.

Its a 50-50% chance , either he is legit or he is trying to pull a fast one on you.

If you want to be 100% sure just tell him that the funds are pending and ask him to wait some time until they are cleared, i am sure if he is legit he wont mind waiting for some time.

But if he starts creating fuss about it than it would look sketchy. So to put him on hold is the best option in my opinion.

P.S please change your font colors it makes my eyes hurt.

buddy
echeck is like u issue an cheque in real life to someone in the real world
u got the check and u thought u have the money
and u give them the goods. the moment u deposit the balanace and the issuing bank inform u, the beneficiary bank that they do not have sufficient money.

this goes even more shitty in US cheque becox it has 7 years of date back.

incase of issuing bank = beneficiary bank, the clearance should be within the same day or almost instant.

while in paypal echeck works in similiar way just so that u are now using payal = u are using beneficiary bank as paypal.

it gives u a pending amount telling u that they conceive they have received the fund but they actually havent.

hope this clears.

in short, dont give them the service yet.

had this happen to me as well, don't release any work or anything like that until you get your money, usually, when happened to me it took like 3-4 days max

It happens for valid reasons too of course, but exactly what virtualpurity said above. There's a fifty-fifty chance. Wait until it clears and just after that allow him to use your service.
