So I have my personal photography account (5 years old) and I have recently botted for about 3 months (F/UF, liking), from June 2017 to now.

Everything was cool until recently I've noticed that the shadowban tester website I used to check my status was a complete bullshit. It says my posts are safe but actually they are not, they don't show up in any single hashtag when I searched for them using other account that doesn't follow my main account.

I've searched all over the Internet for the solution but it seems like everyone's telling the same thing: stop any activity on the account for a couple days, switch back to personal account, pay for the instagram promotion, report the problem to instagram.

I'm just wondering if any of you have succeeded using these methods or something else.

I have stopped botting and I'm thinking about switching to powerlikes, and I've heard that it won't work on shadowbanned accounts?

And also I've seen some very heavy botting accounts are not getting shadowbanned, which doesn't make any sense to me.

Haha no one can work out the mysteries of the shadowban, I'm starting to think its actually a bug on instagrams side.
I have 3 accounts which i like 1800 pics a day on, 30 hastags in the comments, same copy paste. Never shadow banned. Tested through TOR and other accounts who dont follow me.

I started an account all completely whitehat, no botting, no spammy behavior and its shadowbanned after 4 pics.
I'm resting it for a few days and then I'll see if it goes back, apparently it fixes itself eventually according to what I've read... unfortunately it could be 3 days or 3 months who knows!

When ive been shadowbanned, usualy stopping auto liking for a couple of days works.

It happened to me. No activity in 2 or 3 days and you'll probably be fine.

Yes. If it is an older account then just switch up ur hashtags and shit.. If it is a new account then new accounts dont show up in hashtags and locations for like a month... and sometimes in locations they dont show up at all.. Also check your hashtags.. anything that is commercial wont display in hashtags.. for example if you had a #nike among your hashtags then your pics wont display in any of the hashtags you used.

Thanks everyone.

Update:
So after 2 days from stop botting, it seems like my posts are no longer shadowbanned.
I have tried everything except I still kept posting (I post once every other day) and manually liking like normal people would do.

Now I'm thinking about start using powerlike service from igevlove, does anyone have any experience with them?
And is there any risk using powerlikes? I don't wanna get flagged or shadowbanned again.

They are working hard to stop automation services and engagement groups(for the most part anyway), they're doing a damn good job at it.

Not true, I created an account 3 days ago and all posts are showing up just fine.

Thanks everyone.

Powerlikes are a good idea rather than using engagement groups, the reach will be huge depending on how strong the accounts are.

Congratz on "recovering", question... Did you perform ANY actions on your account during the last 2 days?

I posted a picture and a couple stories, liked some friends posts and that's it, just went back to what I would do before I started botting.

Were you using hashtags when posting pictures?

Yeah I used 30 hashtags, but I didn't tag those feature accounts on my picture which I started to do about a month ago.

Lots of other photographers do it, but I feel like that's kind of spamming and stopped.

Maybe that's the reason that I got shadowbanned? lol

I have read loads and most say don't like for seven days .

That's interesting, I figured they'd keep you shadowbanned as long as you kept using hashtags during the duration of your ban and not letting it cool down, but I guess not.
Check your PMs.

delete post, stop buy likes/engegament etc, post again, magic
