Can I steal DA with 301 redirects?

If I buy a domain of 80 DA, then I use 301 to redirect it to my own site, will my DA benefit from the former site? (the content of two sites has nothing in common)

It will, but it's completely useless. Do not focus on DA. It's just a number and it won't help you to make money appear in your bank account. Focus on your serp positions and traffic you are getting.

Also, DA80 domain... hope you have at least $20K at your disposal.

Yes, doing a 301 redirect from a domain that has DA/PA would boost your target website's DA/PA in the process. The same goes with TF as well, it will transfer that site's TF to your target website. But it appears that the TF of the original site would loose its mojo after some time, thus, the benefit would somehow spiral down after some time.

It will but like Nargill said it might not do anything for your ranking.

Honestly if you're going to do high powered 301s to boost your site's rankings you should be cloaking them from link crawlers as you would your PBN links so your competition don't rat you out. Seeing a rise in DA would be cause for concern..

I think it may truly have little to do with direct ranking, but with high DA, I could get ranking much easier than before, right?
