Making money with automation?

What do you think would be some good opportunities if they were automated?

For example using a bot to scrape information off one website, and paste it onto another every single day.

What other stuff could work, and be very profitable.. any other types of ideas? Doesn't have to be same as I listed.

My "Idea" was just a random thought that came to my mind so I could show some type of possible automation.

My intent is not to fish out ideas from others, but to maybe bring some sort of discussion on good types of business that could benefit from types of automation.

I didn't mean to seem like I was just trying to steal actual ideas..

It seems the OP was just looking for advice and as he stated possibly starting a discussion and throwing around a few ideas amongst members.. I don't see any where in his post where he was particularly asking to be spoofed how to make money online. I don't see why people are so quick to just jump on a person's back for the sake of doing it. LQ posts like that really bring down the good nature of the forum.

There's too much to discuss in-depth in a forum post, but IFTTT is mainly good for content syndication. Here's 3 examples:

1 - You make a new blog post on your money site -> RSS gets updated -> IFTTT reads RSS -> Syndicates the content across your Web 2.0 network (blogger, wp, gdrive, tumblr etc). Syndication has SEO benefits as long as it's done correctly (attribution link).

2 - You upload a new YouTube video -> IFTTT syndicates it across your network (embeds are a very big ranking factor)

3 - You need lots of fresh content for your web 2.0 sites, you hook into a few authority site RSS feeds in your niche and it will syndicate their content (keep in mind you don't want to abuse this and have it posting 10x per day). You can mix it with unique content, curated content etc.

How often do you think this process would have to be modified in terms of technical aspects you think? Like running everything smoothly without hiccups.

IFTTT handles all the maintenance and bullshit.

You can abuse outer tiers, but it's worth putting some effort into tier 1. People who use this method typically hire a VA to add content all day long throughout the networks various properties. You can make those properties extremely powerful and future proof as well.

Can you please explain in little more detail? i think you mean automate to generate more followers with follow and unfollow bot? But how can we monetised it?

I have a bad feeling that IFTTT and sites like it will eventually end up getting shut down, for one reason or another. I stick to making my own software!

If you want to get into bot software, the best advice I can give you is to look for problems that can benefit from automation, and find the most simple solution possible! Start with your own work productivity, what do you daily that can benefit from automation. For myself, I started by automating the cleaning and organization of mass link sources, and organizing them by platforms into a large folder structure. (I made the program create a huge hierarchical folder structure and place the specific platform links in text files within that structure.)
