Engagement drop last week on my account, Instagram algorithm....

Hi everyone,


So besides I manage accounts for clients, I wanted to extend my knowledge of Instagram. So I decided to grow accounts, everything went fine until last week.
Example: I have a car account niche with 8,000+ followers, before the engagement drop average likes were about 800+, some viral posts with 3000+. So I checked the account last week, 200+ likes after 24 hours....
Anyone who also had any problems? Anyone tips to get this account back on track? I never did promotions etc, just follow/unfollow method and also like pictures of my followers.

I tried actually with the knowledge I have to get it back on track, but it didn't work.

Yes, Instagram is messing up with the algorithm. Many of the accounts that I handle (clients) also lost on Saturday and Sunday. I've seen the same reports from others here on BHW. Sunday was far the worse for gaining followers.

Slow and steady wins for running client accounts. Nothing much we can do, unless those clients are hot babes that post bikini shots and show nipples on 2 out of every 3 posts.

This aren't accounts of client, it are my own. It's not about the followers, my engagement (likes) dropped like a bomb.
