How to keep youtube seo rank?

So whenever i upload i send a bunch of HR views and likes and socials within the first couple hours of uploading. And i see some good traffic. But for some reason my videos don't seem to rank. and the ones that do seem to rank, fall off after a few days [Presumably because i have stopped sending views].

Is there any other ways to keep videos ranked or rank in the first place because to keep buying views is expensive and at some point destroys your ROI.

It's cause you need to keep sending HR likes and views as well to keep it ranked as because other people with the same type of video will also try to rank and after you have finished sending your views, the competitor video will cross you!

Also, use some youtube marketing software as well.

but problem is views in most cases cost more than the revenue most vids generate to keep pumping

What kind of niche are you in? did you check the competition? Maybe your competitor are boosting a lot of views daily and you cant seem to compete with them.

even if they are boosting, The ROI would be terrible in my niche

correct, there is an algo change that many noticed, HR views will rank the video very fast and on high competition terms, but it may de-ranked as soon as the traffic is OFF ( although this didn't happen on long tail terms)
my guess that YT ranking algo check if the video established ongoing traffic that without it, it will lose its index position (but not for ever)
my tests indicate that if you resume traffic to a video that lost position, he will raise again...

about the ROI, you may consider high CPA values (gambling, binaries, etc.) or test what is the minimum requirement of drip feed HR views that can maintain your ranking position (may vary from any niche/term)
