I've been focusing my energies on another IM journey, but I recently saw some potential to (hopefully) rank a CPA website of mine. The domain already has a few no-follow backlinks (from a previous owner, I suppose) and I've added a couple new backlinks today. How long does it usually take to index? How long after adding new backlinks does it usually take to notice a change in SERPs?

Strong links can have affect your ranking in a matter of days, but in general you'll wait a couple weeks. Be patient with it.

it depends, if you backlink quality is low, you wont get indexed at all

It varies and depends on how quickly your site gets crawled and the pages / links indexed.

There is no answer to your question. A link might never get indexed, or might be discounted totally.

Your rankings might change now, or in a year.

My advice is stop worrying about it and just build good content and links and do competitor analysis on the sites above you.

The links want to index first after some days you would see some changes.
It might take some weeks or months to get your expected result in the search engines.
Concentrate Quality instead of Quantity.
Leverage your contents on social networks you would get some changes in the site.

It depends on what type of backlinks

Effective days after link is indexed
PBN: 7 days to take effect
Expired web 2.0: Similar to pbn but slower
New web 2.0/profile links/etc: at least 1 month

This is my experience in ranking easy-medium keyword

It is difficult to tell you that. But if you create good backlink like do follow backlink. Then you will take the good result as soon as possible.

It also depends on how old your website is. A backlink from the same source boosts a year old website in a matter of days/weeks, but the same backlink gets a new website nowhere for months.

I know one thing, that if a new link brings many visitors from some old fat website, Google will love it.

Hello friend. Do you tell me, How many years old websites is good?

This makes me feel better because I just did some backlink building, now to play the waiting game

It depends on the type of links which you are following for the back-linking. Make sure those are not spam links. It takes weeks if you will follow the proper procedure for back-linking.
