Hello ladies and gentlemen,

Me and my better half decided to go for a packpacking trip to Asia sometime 2018. I have done some research but it is so hard to tell since it seems like there are sooo many places you should go to!

We are going for at least a month, and would like to visit AT LEAST 4 different countries/cities! We prefer the nature rather than the city.
Have you ever done any packpacking in Asia? Do you have any places to recommend? Any must-ones?
Help a fellah out here,

Cheers

If you like ancient ruins check out Angkor Wat Cambodia.

If you like the beach go to Koh Rong Monkey Beach.

I want to explore really, been looking some into Cambodia, seems like a place to visit!

It is a great place to backpack it is cheap and the people are friendly. There is a lot of places to explore in Cambodia. I like it a lot better than Thailand. Vietnam is good too but depending on where you are from it is a little harder to visit.

I spent a year travelling Malaysia, specially the malaysian borneo, the tribal part. If you are into nature and culture, this place is a must visit. Take a trip through the pan borneo highway and experience the true borneo. So many different cultures, food, tribes and most amazingly the rainforests. People are friendly and speaks english and so many activities from jungle trekking to one of the largest cave in earth to scuba diving in crystal clear water at Tawau.

Come visit us in the Philippines. :)

Yeah Malaysia is the only place we are certain about going to so far, however not where and for how long!
Did some research on Borneo and looks like a place worth going! Cheers for sharing, it is added to the list!

Last year we been in Bali and it was great.
But i still like thailand and been many times there. Specially phuket - phi phi beaches
August i went to pattaya and ko samet. All i can say ko samet beach is very nice and very good night life ( but there was not much crowd since its off season)

Cambodia is a poor country than those above but nice culture and very cheap prices. You can find $$$ hotels for $$ there. Also they offer poor weed (not like dutch) in their pizza parlours. Been there 1 time and my wife really didn't like but that was a nice trip too.,

Have been many asian beaches and still like thailand beach more than anything and country as well.

Yeah I can't really get my mind decided about Thailand, some people love it, some people hate it. But it hard to avoid having Thailand as an destination as well.

Bali is however something everyone seems to enjoy when visiting, never really heard anything negative about that place.

Myeaah, Cambodia seems like a great place to visit as well, doing this long ass trips can cost a lot of money and choosing places like Cambodia could be great, saving some cash while we still get to enjoy the life just as much!

Philippines. Search nas daily on facebook and watch his videos about philippines.

Philippines is where you see quality and amazing experiences that will never hurt your wallet.

My dear, take care. Many places in Asia are worth seeing / visiting, but not safe for foreigners.
Please research yourself, and do not merely depend on what people advice you.
A place / city may be peaceful today and tomorrow there may be chaos, violence and looting.
So, do not depend on advices. Please do continious research on the internet.
Let us say, you are in some city in Asia and as per your plan, in a few hours you are heading / flying to another city, then keep checking the latest / live news about that city.
Be safe and enjoy your Asian adventure.

Have you considered (Burma) Myanmar? I went there this January as it's recently opened to the western world everything is so cheap and backwards
