Thinking About Starting Local SEO services - ideas?

Hello, I have found out something.
In my area people are paying 500 a month for Local seo, one of my friends is paying 500 a month for his business and the guy is ranking him for like 10 searches a month keywords, keywords like for example" plumbing in Crestview" "Plumbing in Ekrsin Park " and would be ranking on page 1 but the URL would be like plumbingservices.com/plumbing-in-crestview but when you click on the link it just redirects you to the homepage is this guy shit? or is that a quite a good method? cant you rank higher if you had a specific page for every suburb with content that can rank you?, any ideas on how I could start in this field?

Ive been reading here and there about Local SEO, but how do you guys think i should start?
Should I open up a website and reach out to local businesses asking if they want to rank?
is Local SEO difficult?
How can they pay me monthly?
is Blackhat SEO on Local seo a bad idea? Like if i fuck up their website im fucked..
What happens if they are paying me and i cant rank them fuck all ? LOL
Just any tips would help, because I have no Idea where to start.

Seriously, looking at your previous posts it looks like you have still got a lot to learn about SEO.

I suggest learning to rank your own sites before taking on clients.

The alternative is to gather leads then outsource the work or sell them.

Start Having leads before start-/ Make sure you have clients to work with .

Depends on Competition- You wouldn't want to rank a site in newyork for competitive KW.

I'd suggest you learn as much as you can about seo over the coming 18 months, 2 years before considering this.

One option is whitelabel, however you need to know what you're talking about to be able to sell that too.

Anyway least for me there is nothing called white hat or black hat for SEOs

Learn SEO and ofc you can do. It's not rocket science. I am not an SEO expert (is really there seo experts lol ?) but i am pretty sure you can learn it with trial and errors.

dude, who cares.
I even splittest telling clients the brutal honest truth that their site is crap and withou 10k in links like .cnn and the wise they cant dream of getting to page 1.
gets you no where.

but g ive them 100 crap links, talk bs, you can charge them 500$.. and send some 10$ PBN link to the site..

however, I dont work that way internanily nor externaliy.
