How well does the Youtube streaming method works?

i heard that revenue from streaming channel on youtube is really low. But can't confirm it true or not, but i bet it can't be too high.

The revenue may be nice there if you got 500+ active viewers all the time. Is there a good way/method of getting proper viewers 24/7 nowadays? Not the views but viewers with watch time over 10 minutes per session? I think this is vital for such streams during the first time.

I think everything is newbie friendly and simple except for getting the momentum - say getting 50-100 constant viewers. Even 10 would be a huge problem, otherwise youtube won't put you in search results/related section. As for the rest - will you just download OBS and go get some no copyright music to your taste. Play it, broadcast via OBS right to your youtube account.
