Is iWriter a joke (rant incoming)?

<Rant>So I needed a 300-word article, which included a keyword 3 times... I didn't require any research, just wanted a body of text that flowed well, so I paid $10 for a 500-word article... 2 cents/word (more than what I work for and I live in the western world)... In the space of 3 hours, the article was assigned to 5 different writers, all from Kenya... I kinda needed the article immediately hence why I payed extra, but it now looks like it's going to take 3 days before I receive a completed article and I have no faith that what I receive will be usable based on the previous reviews of past and current writers assigned to my piece... Damn.. as a native English writer struggling to make dough, looks like I need to up my game as the competition is really, really, bad, like wtf? I work for $0.005/word and I deliver content that's readable....</Rant>

I use several writers depending on what I need.
Content mart on here is an alternative to Iwriter, or just grab a content provider who can offer quick turnarounds.

iWriter is pure trash, and it's a scheme if you are a writer. They charge you to get a high rating, so any moron can do it. Their English "test" is a first grade level test, and their owner is a made up person.

When I first started out, I made the coldest $80 on my IM journey from iwriter. It was hectic, the place is a trash hole. However, it teaches you much especially with many people ready to work for nuts. I then went and bought articles but never really monetized them. I then used article generators such as WordAi and ArticleForge..

After all, I think it's always wise to maybe write your own. Depending on your fluency as a native, this way you can save a chunk of money. Besides, you can use AI, then reedit. However, the biggest downfall is editing at times may consume more energy than simply writing/researching on your own. I personally think auto generated content, can be great for PBN that you find hard to keep up. Article Forge can schedule your posting, images.. but I doubt on the bounce rate, especially for the fact that some articles maybe out of the topic.

I used Iwriter for a while, but I got sick of sending back the same article 3 or 4 times before it was useable. And that was on the second highest tier.

Upwork is good, I found a few US writers on there that are cheap and excellent writers.

Thanks for the replies. I received my article within 35 hours after it had been reassigned to multiple writers and sometimes the same writer multiple times (why accept a job, if you have no intention of completing it?). Anyway the article was as expected and required a huge amount of editing. Anyone know where I can order articles with a 1hr turn-around-time (I don't mind paying a premium)? I know the solution is to write for myself, but I'm a full time writer and in order to maintain a lucrative contract with a big client I have to submit work daily (7 days/week) and some days I wake up and there's just no way on earth I can write a single SEO article.

Interesting replies... Just to say that I've also been a writer on the site and the experience was even worse than that of being a client... I had people requesting 2000 word articles for the price of 150 word blog posts and disgusting personal attacks (I made the mistake of using a female username).... and I'm a native English speaker (although people might not think it with the bile I spill on this forum lol) who wanted to offer nothing but value, so god knows how people with English as a 2nd language were/are spoken too by clients... Admittedly I am annoyed/disappointed with the work I received and I won't be ordering again, but I didn't resort to personally attacking the writer...

Hmm my experience with iwriter seems to be the complete opposite. I recently just bought two 500 articles for £2 each and they were perfect! everything made sense, readable and usable. will definitely be using them again!

iwriter just like another similar platform is going to be a hit or a miss. You are dealing with a platform that outsources your stuff to random guys. So, you can't expect them to hit the bull's eye every-time.

You have to have at least 25 articles written, but all "articles" for standard writers are 1-2$ so I don't take them. There is a special program that circumvents all of that for $200.
