Hi,

Now am not a snitch before people start calling me out for outing this guys site but am amazed at how he is able to rank number 1 for the search term 'free iphone 7' with little to no backlinks? Any ideas guys?

Great post I love such case studies and hope for great replys.

But I do see 4700 results in google when searching for "get-iphone7.top" so he HAS done something

Probably just the website mentions are worth more than spammy backlinks nowadays.

edit: So REALLY quick 1min summary: Use lots of stat/redirect sites, some videos and always mention the URL, index everything.
There might also be 301s from many other domains.

To be fair i've not actually heard of hidden links! Guess there's no way of knowing what kind of backlinks he's got if there hidden.

LOL the guy owning the site can be sued to hell by Apple for writing this. I am pretty sure Apple is not affiliated with this crap, but he forgot the word "NOT" apparently in the disclaimer. I won't bother looking at its backlink profile because I am 90% sure he has a hidden PBN linking to the site.
