[Backlinking] - What's The Right Steps?

I haven't really done backlinking before, but I know most of what people do. My question now is how do you really share the links. Is it 1 backlink for every post in a blog, or more backlinks for some select post. I have over 100 post for my new website and I don't know the proper order of sharing the content.

Depends on the keywords you're targeting for each post and their difficulty. Focus your efforts on pages that you believe need the most attention (difficult and/or high volume keywords). Juice should flow to less important pages from there and help them improve as well.
See where you are after a few weeks, and decide what pages need links next. Rinse and repeat.

You need back links for all the posts. You can filter out your best posts, and concentrate on them more as compared to less important blog posts...
