email and referral marketing

I also propose you use zerobounce to clean the emails first before sending so that to prevent your IP getting flagged

overdrive gtfo of this thread, or even better go play with some traffic (of the vehicular kind).

Update:

- Learnt a tonne about Mautic this evening that was cool.
- Got my email limits increased so can send my emails now.
- Installed some affiliate URL masking on my site, so the URL looks a little cleaner.
- Installed some tracking on my site so I can see who visits it.

Next steps:

- Write e-mail.
- Decide what time I want to send e-mails.
- Send e-mails.

Will update again tomorrow.

Thanks had a look at this but I'd be too concerned they might just steal my list.

Got the emails sent out now. Took a while ran into some glitches. I did it properly with unsubscribe links etc. Unsubscribe rate isn't all that bad really maybe 10% of the people that read it.
Got 1 sale! Feels good. Was a tonne of work for one sale, but this is the first affiliate sale I ever got so it does feel good.

I'm going to clean the list and try again in a month or so. In the meantime I am motivated now to build my own site, and build my own opt'ed in list.
I only sent the emails 3 hours ago, so maybe will get some more sales yet too hopefully.

Well this sucks... got another sale... but the person contacted me saying they didn't receive their login info for the product... I emailed the vendor and no reply yet. Looks like they'll cancel.
A very useful lesson... in future I will definately ask for a review copy / and or / test out the communication etc before hand.

I've also decided to really invest the time and energy into trying to build my own decent review site.
