Help securing an instagram account..

Someone keeps hacking my account, what is the best way to secure it after the Instagram Team sends me the log in link. Thanks!

Maybe make a new email, change email in account. Change Instagram password. Make sure you don't use the same password for email and Instagram. Make the passwords long, with mix of random letter/numbers/uppercase/lowercase.

Also if you login from a pc. Check for spyware.

First of all I would check if you or your device is infected (keylogger, Trojan horse, backdoor etc.) therefore i would suggest to set your new password from a "secured" device for example a iPhone (not jailbreaked!) or a clean android device thru the mobile network (not wlan). choose a complex password with numbers strings and special characters.

After that check:
- your devices for backdoor
- Check WLAN (easy to sniff passwords if not secured by ssl)
- check wether you use bots etc. from untrustworthy sources etc.

If you don't have the original email you don't have full access to the account.

So you have the OG email? I think change the email of the IG account and then change it back to your OG email, that might work. not 100% sure though.

I have the OG Email. Although, these people are pretty slick.
