best thing is to test and believe instead of getting any advise. As you have already built, watch out the serp movement. In case if it does bad, remove the link and you will be fine.

Did anyone actually tested if profile links hurt or not?
If not I would probably make case study of it. Because IMO, raw urls on high PA, DA, CF, TF sites ... and there is probably more than 50 sites with DA>80-90 should be pretty good. Of course providing they are indexed. And to make sure they are indexed it is the best to build links to them and add as much niche related content as possible.

No, profiles won't hurt you, but they won't help you much either. Instead use that time to create actual and content and use it for guest posts or PBNs, that will be a much more efficient use of your ressources.

1k profile links from forums, to / of a pet project. nothing happend to keyworsd # on that site
I can vouche however, for 40k nofollow gsa spam blast with keywords anchors and guestbook spam sprinkled in.
I helped an "prospect" to gain some spots on his site.
sadly, also dont help.
from other forums, I used in the past, some were linked to sites..
I also added link in ******** forum sig - no point either.
2of those forum had post count of 5k and 7k !

Awesome ... what kind of anchors have you done, and how many of these were indexed?
Also since you did 1000 of profiles, I guess CF and DA are not high for these domains.
Did the keyword moved on bing. They should IMO, as they do not mind of a domain has high CF or low CF.
I saw sites ranked on bing just with exact match and blog comments on low CF sites.
