Hello friends,
I am from China, like art, if you are interested we can make friends, talk about each other's national culture, many places are very unique culture

Hey, welcome to the forum!

What kind of art are you interested in? I've purchased a couple of paintings and the sculpture in the image below (it was outside at the time of the photo because I was moving it around). However, I'm considering taking landscape photographs and framing them rather than purchasing art sometime in the near future.

Welcome Mars-su!!

@Zwielicht, Mr. In red colour.
Why you lie to people on earth?
When I zoom that in I found that is not a painting.
It's something you posted on canvas.
Are eyes more clear or what it is?

He said it's a sculpture, not a painting

Am I really a "HE"?
Anyways, I think Original Poster had cutted down that from a newspaper article then used a thermacol to paster it over and painted it with golden colour and hooked up on canvas finally.
I never meant to heart you Original Poster cos I hink what it looks like. But if you really bought it and in 70"s. Mr. Red it's fantabulous then.

I did not call you "he". I was referring to Zwielicht. HE stated it was a sculpture, not a painting.

How would I benefit from lying about that? I'm not some neurotypical who gets off on lying about arbitrary topics on forums.

Anyway, it's a fiberglass sculpture, not a painting or a newspaper cutout. It was made in the 1970s, but I purchased it about a year and a half ago (I wasn't alive when it was made; you can even see in my photo here that I'm clearly in my 20s). The "city" part of the sculpture is also removable from the back board.

Here are some more pictures of it below.

As you can tell from the shadow, it's clearly 3 dimensional.

Welcome friend. I am Chinese too! I have few paintings in my gallery too.

Thank you for sharing, I like handicrafts, hand painted oil paintings, and will do some sculpture, but not on the wood, but on the rubber, I think it is very interesting. It seems that you have a lot of works of art

Welcome Mars-su!!
Thank you ,I will also pay attention to some of the works on the ins.

I should clarify that I bought that, I didn't make it. ;)

It's a vintage sculpture; a Finesse Originals.
See the first glance I thought it was your own work, it was really fine,it really was a happy thing as an art lovers could get it

Are you doing oil business or your own collection?

Oh, no, I have some old artwork I've done in the past, but ever since that tumour that developed in my wrist back in 2012 (now removed), I haven't really done much.
