While zlatan was 18 it took him 5 years to score 28 goals and he was not playing in such a high rated club.

Goals cannot accurately determinate how good or bad a player is. Sure, they give a rough estimate of a player's capabilities but they aren't the be and all of how skilled somebody is. Not even close.
Messi and Neymar compete for the same "resources" aka goals, right? Since only one of them can send the ball in the net. Not to mention that Neymar was shadowed by Messi to some extent; in other words, he wouldn't get the acclamation he'd deserve when he assisted Messi on scoring... it's marketing here. Is Messi better than Neymar? Maybe. But that difference is probably microscopic.
Now, back to Zlatan. It's true that Zlatan may haven't won important titles, but he trendemously supported his team mates to carry the ball at the enemy team. That his team failed to capitalize on that, wasn't his fault but his teammates as a collective. And that he didn't score, again, doesn't make him a shit player.
If another player is better than you, it doesn't make you a loser. Also, trophies are given to the best of the best. Maybe he's not in the top 3, but he's definitely in the top 1%, and that's just amazing.
Sorry, but you sound like all these noisy "fans" who just look at the leaderboard, and says:" ha, my team is the best, told ya", even though they barely won.
Also he has a unique signature thanks to his "friendly cockiness"... Zlatan style...
