(Amazon Affliates) Journey to #1

Hi all,

This is the intro post to my journey to #1 with my amazon affiliate site that I acquired through @hacko 's Microniche Service in the marketplace ! (Can't post links as I don't have enough posts yet)

Creating this journey as a way to share my strategies and progress whilst ranking this site.

The site has no backlinks.

I spent $400 on the site and these are the current google rankings:

15 110MS
15 170MS
17 50MS
31 590MS
46 170MS
73 50MS
77 170MS

Some of these keyword are also between 4th and 15th on bing. I also have more that are not ranking in google but are between 17th and 45th on yahoo and bing.

(I'll attach screenshots as the journey progresses)

My current gameplan is to add a sh*t ton of related content, create some web 2.0's and let them age a bit.

Good luck on your journey, I have 1 amazon site, earning $100+/month. What is your link building strategy? Do you do PBN?
Make sure your content should have more than 500 words, google rank high on page that have long content word and very informative.

Long content is good. But it is not a criteria for google ranking.

After some scraping,I found my first PBN domain. It's only got a single backlink, but it's genuine BL from a DA63 authority site, which has pushed the domain authority of my PBN domain to 11. The domain has 3 urls indexed in google, which i'll be redirecting to the homepage to concentrate link juice. I know it's risky as this link could be removed at any time - but we shall see.

Update: I set up a my first PBN site - Wrote 1000 word article with images and added 2 links to my money site. The pbn domain has 4 indexed urls in google. I'm trying to redirect to 301 redirect them to the homepage but I'm having trouble as my they were indexed as "https" and my site is "http". Does anyone have experience redirecting in that scenario ?

I'm going to be adding a 1000 article to my money site by the end of today, I'll also be going through the articles on my site and making them a bit longer where I can.

I've also hit the first page for a 170MS keyword.

For this to work, there must be an active certificate on the domain.

Between, from what I have been reading, it is advisable to let the PBN aged for at least 30 days before inserting your links.
