Now I'm confident he is banging her. That is exactly the kind of shite a liar would say. "She's not my ex" "She just thinks we was together".

He has been banging her / probably still is / drunken fucked her a few times.

Oh and by the way, he probably moved job to stay clear of what he has been doing or is doing, as he does not want it to get out.

Just distancing himself from his drunken fuck every now and again. You see she is reacting like this as when he is drunken banging her, he will be telling her how much he loves her and wants to be with her. Then he sobers up, thinks what the fuck have I been doing again, blows her off till next time he gets pissed up.
