Currently on Namecheap and was wondering if you can register pbn domains all under your namecheap account or if you have to create different registrar accounts for each domain?

Basically, is registering all pbn domains under same registrar account a footprint?

Thanks

Does anyone know?

Yup buddy register them in different registrant account and different providers too. So that the sites are safe from footprints.

If you built 50 PBNs and no other links, and all of those 50 are on namecheap it's a red flag, if 25 on namecheap, 25 on godaddy then another 100 links from guestposts/forums/comments/profiles that have random registrars it's no prob. Just think from an algorithm perspective -"what are the chances that...>insert anything here<" in this case 50/50 on namecheap looks highly unnatural.

P.S.

You can have all domains on same account just use privacy on all. I have hundreds of domains and have ~75% on namecheap, ~25% on godaddy all with whois privacy.

Make sure that you have a lot more other links than PBNs and you'll be fine.

Namesilo is a good one as it's free privacy for life, where Namecheap is only free for first year.

Also, even if having all the domains on the same account weren't a flag, then having a whois privacy on ALL the domains might be a problem. Even this is a footprint and always add some fake details to the mix. Ideally, majority should be fake details.

Namesilo, Namecheap, Dynadot, Hover, Namebright are all decent registrars and you really do not need any more than these, so spread your domains out.

Thank you for asking, I had the same question and searched for it. Thanks to all who answered too!

Have always wondered if registering with fake data is a risk. Say your competitor is a bad boy (most likely) and just come across a PBN site of yours. He proceeds to get in touch with your registrar so your domain gets seized/invalidated for giving fake data/not being a real person (after asking for details validation, for example).

Is that even a thing? Because legally the contract would be between the registrar and a fake/non existent entity and not you. Legally you wild have no authority on that domain if caught. so there's the risk.

I believe this could be done if someone was cuntish enough. But I am sure that most of the registrars would be okay with changing the details to correct ones and applying Whois privacy if this were to happen. Still, if your PBN network is discovered, your competitor can do absolutely whatever he wants with it anyway. Wild west out there.

That's unlikely to happen. I'm using 100% fake details for all domains. Not just PBN but also moneysites. As long as you have access to registered emails for each domain, you're good to go.

I have lose 2 domain with + 50 k day for problem of fake detail 2 year ago ... you are crazy using fake detail for monney site.

Been doing this for years tho. Why would I use real details for whois anyway. All you need is real details for the registrar itself, you absolutely can change your whois to whatever you like.

how many domains are recommended for a single registrar ? If we are going for a pbn

There's no rule for that. Even if you have 200 site PBN network, 5 registrars are pretty much enough.

dont register all your pbn domain under one registrar, there are many domain registrars, like godadddy, namesilo, namecheap, dynadot, etc.. Dont private all your pbn domains
