I have a 90k account in girls/sexy niche 85% following are males, its been dying for a couple of months, I cant find a way to monetize it and im thinking about changing the niche to something more profitable, probably girly stuff. I kwow I will loose many followers, but as that is a popular niche, I think I will regain them quickly. What do you guys think? Is it a good idea?

as 85% followers are male they will not be interested in girly stuff so even if they stay they won't generate any income

changing niche is a surefire way too absolutely kill an account, stick with the niche that it is and monetise that.

Agreed, changing to a girl niche is not a great idea if 85% of your audience is male, just keep posting and engage abit more see if you can boost the numbers? Perhaps advertise that you will shout out someone if they follow / like a certain pic? Just a thought

If your going to change the niche DON'T change it to girl stuff, 85% of your aud is male

Change to something like
- automotive
- Fitness
- Males Fashion Account

-guns
-knife
-automotives
-wristwatch
- or sport niche i guess

Most of your followers are male. The majority of those are 12-16 year olds. Even changing to a male niche (cars, guns, knives, etc) will not get you much is sales. What will happen is that you will lose about 1/2 of your followers (Teens and pre-teens). The rest of the males will stay with you. It will be a while before you can regain more males that really buy stuff.

On the other hand, if you do switch to selling girly stuff, you'll lose 1/2 or more of your male followers (these don't do crap for you anyway). it will take a while for you to regain female followers to buy.

Either way, you're looking at options of losing followers and having a while before you get buying followers. What will get you the most in the end, is always female followers. They always buy stuff, for themselves and their male friends. Male followers only buy for themselves.

Tough decision.
