Visit and bot hit from Yandex

Hi all,

About some weeks ago, my site received alot of hits from Yandex SE and about 1k visit from Yandex.

But when i search the keyword that bring visitor come to my site, rank is very weak. And i dont know how they come here.

It is a CPC website, I realize the revenue of Yandex visitor = 0. And Yandex bot hit my site about 1 million hit per day (via analytic of CF)

Is it spammer? or anyone in here have a way to get $ from Yandex visitor?

I shoud block it, right?

Yandex is a Russian search engine. There's good Russian traffic. If you have an English site, block the Yandex bot.

I myself am from Russia, and I can say that in Yandex, only Russian-speaking traffic is good.

I wouldn't block those visitors, instead I'd create a relevant landing page for them, unless your site is a local service.
Reading you utilize CPC offers to monetize traffic I'd check if your network has any kind of offer for those visitors (likely they are russian, but Yandex is active in several other countries nowadays).
You can tell if those visitors are real or not by researching what they do on your website, revewing their system/IP data etc. Most of the time it is obvious.

Yes! 'Coz it's highly dependent on user's geolocation.

if you don't need traffic from Russia, you might as well block them, high traffic would burden your server load

What is the theme of your site? Are you sure that this traffic is live people, and not search engine parsers?

I dont know, about 1000 keywords, all of them are long tail keywords
