I don't want to argue regarding the repetitive controversy. But Amazon is getting bigger every year and a lot of people start their search on amazon (for product). I don't think local seo or informational keywords are concerned but what about buyer keywords? Should Affiliate marketer or ecommerce migrate slowly to Amazon?

Thanks (sorry for my bad english)

Indeed. I am doing well. I'd like to thank everyone for their concern.

On the subject of the thread, SEO isn't dead, just migrating. You can already see awful keyword stuffing in product titles on Amazon. What do you think that is? People manipulating Amazon's search algo. Dare I say, they are optimizing for Amazon's search engine? Really what you're asking is if the free Google traffic is in decline. Probably, but we just have to adapt. Same as it ever was.

stuffing keywords on amazon is also on the decline, they have started closing accounts that do that, i believe there is a huge banhammer incoming

As I've said I am not arguing regarding the death of Seo. It's still strong! But for ecommerce, as you may know, buyer search on google is decreasing. Amazon is the place now to BUY. How can we adapt to this new trend? Maybe we should focus on local seo or...

Lol. SEO never be dead.
But it's getting new arena.

It's true that Ecommerce business is become concerned.
The one reason is duplicate content and keyword stuffing.

If you put unique content, Google will love your website as child.

Thanks :)

One member here says SEO is dead because Amazon is growing.

The other say google will love your site like a child if you have unique content.

Not sure which one should i laugh at.

PLEASE GUYS READ MY TILE AND POST.

I HAVEN'T SAID SEO IS DEAD.

You should laugh at the second statement, not mine.

Trust me Amazon is the biggest search rival of google.

There are 3 times more search for popular query on amazon.

you can always sell products from FB ads and instagram or black hat ppc. it's not necessary to target keywords for search engines, if you see a keyword is popular, use other platforms/business models to market your product.

i think its easier to get your product seen on amazon vrs. google.

I don't think so. I am not big fan of Amazon myself. I even not participate with their shady affiliate program. I am in few affiliate programs and currently earning decent money. Remember every product is not available in Amazon. As affiliates, you should think out of the box. By going to market research you will be able to understand what you are missing and how bullying Amazon :).

I guess it depends with the sucess of user.

I am bad at facebook advertising. I recently lost $1200 with facebook and i earn passive income with seo. So smm dead for me.

I love SEO and kiss google.

Don't put all eggs in the same basket. Do you like gaypal? If then go for amazon then stick to your own platform like wordpress , shopify and do a legit business. Instead migrate why not to establish new biz or getting traffic from Amazon ?

Dead for zombie.

Luckily we are alive

I'm sure. I don't care about the hot tactic at the moment, I was simply pointing out that where there is a search engine, there is also SEO.

The "but" in your title tweaks the meaning a bit. If someone told you "I'm sorry, but" were they really sorry? Anyways, moving on. The problem I have with your statement is that you conflate SEO and Google traffic. The way you adapt will depend on what you're actually doing. If you're selling a product, then put it on Amazon. If you're running a review site, then start getting your traffic from other places like niche relevant forums, or figure out a way to siphon some traffic off from Amazon. Perhaps try to upload an actual video review that has your site URL somewhere in it. Just a couple ideas to try.
