With low quality links it def seems like new sites get stuck page 3-4. But if you keep building higher quality links, in particular relevant links, they will move higher.

Some of my site stuck page 2,but it just go to page 9 when i build more quality links

You can check on sites like mozcast and algoroo if there is a significant fluctuation.

I lose positions on the 1 page for 5 KW's. One of the main attributes for my niche has become the number of indexed pages. First 5-6 places get the same 3 websites. So far, I have always had answers to such updates. This time I'm not sure what to do.

Some of my sites dance daily i get to #2 week/2 then drop to 13-14 then come again.. some old sites are losing positions from #1 to #3-5 and being outranked by spammers with thousands of links and RD's .. new sites usualy stuck on page 2-3 not moving for few months whatever links add. I must say honestly for me never been harder to rank..
Worst of all is that its impossible to analyse and learn anything and to have 100% proof so if i made mistakes to not make again.. For example competition results 1-5 , first 2 rank somehow with only gsa spam, 3rd rank with 10 links (ahrefs,majestic,semrush all show 10-12 links) non relevant, no anchors used, content 150-200 words on homepage site it ranks 600+ keywords (i tried to find hidden pbn impossible absolutely no anything)
And results are like this across many niches, somewhere authority sites rules, even if they not niche relevant they make a post about something and rank it blazing fast..

why even use Google .

when you put all you eggs in one basket it hurts.

Bing would be a better solution in seo,

I get the impression Google going to charge for indexing any website .....

I say this because website like Facebook are becoming there own entirprise and branded heavily so don't need Google .

and I can see many many websites going the same .

I think app installs will be the future and browser becomes old hat.

I think Learning I'm without taking on Google or any search engine best way to go forward for any serious internet marketer ..

I am very sure android apps and Apple apps will over take and browser all comming

Maybe the best would be the mixture of bing SEo and facebook payed ads.
