Is Ultimate Niche Finder still working for anyone? Their website is down, program is showing server error and no response from support. Pretty much think its dead.

Anyone want to recommend a replacement program to bulk harvest and filter keywords or am I going to have to start doing it in Excel :O

Yeah, it is likely dead. No response from support and not working. I dont think the desktop softwares will ever survive as they can't make enough money. The web based ones will last much longer.
For softwares maybe the one from SEO Powersuite would work but after 6 months you will need to pay a monthly fee for updates.

I actually only need the simplest functions from ultimate niche finder -- just the keyword filtering ability which I have not found to be as agile in any other program other than UNF. Too bad its not supported anymore... even worst is that I can't even access the program at all due to their server licensing method...

yea it is a shame. Always good to know they're ways to get around that but involves dumping the program and stuffs, complicated but possible.
Nothing is close to a desktop keyword research tool like UNF. Web based ones are not as great.

I think whoever who bought over UNF don't know how to market, monetize and keep it going properly. At one point they were charging monthly but then went back to one time payment.
Yes, the filtering of tens of thousands of keywords is quite good but often crashes when there's tens of thousands of them.

Probably crashes because of the language its written in, its a very simple but powerful piece of software. pretty sure there will be another similar software coming out here soon.

It's been a while since I used UNF last time. I find that kwfinder.com is a great alternative. I haven't had the chance to fully test the waters with it but it seems quite convenient tool.

I guess the other software should be Longtail Pro, but it's charging monthly. At least 25 p/m .
