So I'm currently generating revenue via amazon affiliates through kind of a spammy way. I got past the initial review Amazon does thanks to a real affiliate site with proper disclosure I had up at the time, but that website is no longer live.

If my business continues to generate revenue I feel as if Amazon will re-visit my now deceased website, see it's no longer live, question how I'm still generating revenue, then trace the tracking links back to my spammy-ish operation and shut me down.

I'm concerned because in this strategy I'm working, I cannot fully disclose the Amazon Affiliate Policy like I would be able to on one of my own sites.

Is this something I should be concerned about? If so, how long do I have until I get shut down? (For reference I've been doing this for ~5 mo but only recently has revenue started to pick up).

They can trace where your traffic is coming from and if it doesn't come from the website listed on your account then you're screwed

You can waste all your time spamming to make more affiliate sales but come pay day they're going to review your case and drop the ban hammer

Thanks for the reply. I've been paid out 3 times already. Now I'm kind of just wondering when they'll figure out??

Either youre extremely lucky or that's a load of bs
or...
I'm just extremely paranoid and overestimate amazon's capabilities to detect things like this

Yeah I'm conflicted... On one hand I could just update the website information but that could potentially mean my profile will be reviewed again only to discover the operation. On the other hand, I could just let it be and hope for the best, although I feel like this isn't a good option due to the fact that they'll eventually look into my account as I continue to scale up.

It's a good thing I'm somewhat diversified.
