That is how the brands look at original content vs borrowed content.
I sure as hell would never accept $10 for a "test" post on that kind of engagement, lol. We all know that if the posts does well and it converts, they'll come back regardless of how much they paid. And if it didn't, they won't unless the next posts are extremely affordable.
I agree with the others that $20-40 is fair, depending on how long you you keep the post up. For 24 hours, definitely charge 35-40$
