Which social media is effective for promoting apps or website?

Context!!!

Facebook Ads are high value for money. Groups aswell.

Instagram is good if you game it right.

Define your audience and reverse engineer the journey they would take to find you.

Where is their attention likely to be? What are they interested in and engaging with online?

Figure that out then get involved in those places in a way that will attract them to your app/site.

hope that helps.

With social media gaining so much widespread acceptance, everyone now not only owns 1 social media account, but multiple, so I believe social media will be there for many more years to come. It may grab a large chunk of the internet share in my opinion. It's no longer websites>listed on search engine. It's social media profile>accessible internally via the social media network.

you are behind the curve my friend the developments you are speaking of happening of in the future have already come and we are past the stage of "it may grab a large chunk of the internet share"... bro 74% of people connected to the internet right now are on a social network... social media is here to stay.

people need to stop thinking of social as a new development. the platform is new but the forum is the same.. human connection, we are social creatures, social media is just technology catching up with this social aspect of our nature.

Linkedin? I think not. Tumblr works really good as well in my experience. Reddit of course but only if you manage to get upvotes :)

For apps Sarahah is actually a GREAT way to advertise. I sent out around 5,000 messages for a buddy and he had over 500 new installs in less than 24 hours.
