Actually bittrex has a total of 278 supported wallets and have been in business for about 3 years. It's a lot of supported currencies, but they aren't adding anywhere near 100 per day.
Are you referring to crytocurrencies in general or one in specific. If you are referring to all cryptos, well, they have made a lot of people a lot of money. But I guess time will tell. In 10 or 20 years people will refer to it as another 90's like inflationary period leading up to the big dotcom crash or the biggest thing to happen since the internet. Either way, I'm riding it up as much as I can and laughing all the way to the bank. If there's a huge crash in a few years then so be it. I still made way more than I would in traditional markets and regularly take profits and move them to growth/income funds for longer term goals. Even if i kept purchasing all the way down the crash, it would still be with free money.

As long as everyone is waiting for the same, it won't go down.
So last night right after I said BTC looked like it was gonna push higher, I decided to put some back in. Only because I had some USD on the exchange for about a week waiting to put into some altcoins as soon as the BTC price fell. I saw it was about to move up again and didn't want to put it in at a higher price and some of the altcoins were reaching the USD prices I wanted to buy in at. So I held it all in BTC for the day for almost a 10% gain, then moved about half of it to altcoins and kept the other half in BTC. I'm sure the BTC pullback will happen eventually but in this market there's no telling when. As it reaches new highs, I will move more of it into different altcoins and if it drops then I will probably buy more with USD or cash out on other coins and move them back to BTC. I also put a little into ARK this afternoon at around $0.85 and am up over 100% on it already. I just got really lucky there. I don't plan to cash it out as it's still a long term hold and a relatively small investment.
For those that think TA is worthless in this market, this screenshot is what I based my trade on. It was a clear price consolidation that broke upwards and I got in somewhere around the red circle. Not a perfect trade by far but TA does work in many situations.
