so that been made up for there whole system I worked in level 3 years lol never heard that one lol it the same as a dynamic ip lol
they 're written there own network words to identifie there own network strategy

An Elastic IP address is a static IPv4 address designed for dynamic cloud computing. An Elastic IP address is associated with your AWS account. With an Elastic IP address, you can mask the failure of an instance or software by rapidly remapping the address to another instance in your account.

I haven't heard of it before either. But from the looks of it, an elastic ip is the opposite of a dynamic ip, because after disconnection and reconnection it doesn't change, it's practically a static ip and what they label as public ip, that's the dynamic.

An Elastic IP address is a static, public IPv4 address designed for dynamic cloud computing. An Elastic IP address is a property of network interfaces. You can associate an Elastic IP address with an instance by updating the network interface attached to the instance.
