Google just banned blackhatworld.com from displaying adsense... I was actually surprised it lasted for so long (~4 days). Google just doesn't like this forum because we make their job so MUCH harder! :D

They said it was because we were comparing different pay per click ads and that is against TOS...like digitalpoint doesn't compare them?

Hello,

While reviewing your account, we noticed that you are currently displaying Google ads in a manner that is not compliant with our policies. For instance, we found violations of AdSense policies on pages such as http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/f13-google-adsense/.

As stated in our program policies, AdSense publishers are not permitted to place Google ads on sites with content related to programs offering incentives to click links or ads, read emails, or surf other websites. This would include, for instance, auto-surf sites, pay-to-read email networks, and sites comparing various pay-to-click programs.

As a result, we have disabled ad serving to the site.

Your AdSense account remains active. However, we strongly suggest that you take the time to review our program policies (https://www.google.com/adsense/policies ) to ensure that all of your remaining pages are in compliance.

Please note that we may disable your account if further violations are found in the future.

Sincerely,

The Google AdSense Team

? the dreaded letter. That?s the first time I?ve seen that reason specified as a reason for banning.

Bummer Dave, I noticed you'd changed the ads to yahoo. Lets see how long they last ;)

Yahoo isn't too keen with itself. They're drooling for MSN's billions right now so they could care less. I see a banned from adsense thread on at least one forum I'm a member of per day :o

Yahoo publisher ads are pretty bad on forums because they display off topic ads a lot of times. So far they seem on target so we'll see how they perform.

Sorry to hear you got banned from adsense. I think Adsense is the best PPC program (I get measly $3-5 for 50-70 click/day) . Does yahoo pay well?
Is theer any good PPC program better than Google?

Three strikes and you are out
They must think this is only a minor problem (two more warnings to go)
Usually if it is major non compliance you loss your account (MFA sites, arbitrage, click fraud -- ECT)

Man thats a bummer... But is it really worth it? I've made a whopping $17 in the last 4 years, although you guys get more traffic than little old me!

I have $20.00 sitting in my account and can't wait for it to grow.

Yes it can be worth it. Pick a site lots of people want to visit (proxy site..cough) and load it with adsense. The traffic comes naturally once you spread the word. Easy automated cash.

I'm no Adsense expert but I make about $100 per week for fun money.

Yahoo tends to pay a little more per click but CTR rate is lower. Affiliate programs pay a lot more than Adsense or yahoo so I don't really mind getting banned but it seems like Google has double standards.

Yahoo is very relevant with this site. It blends in perfectly.

LOL...I gotta tell ya bro...every time I saw a Goog ad in the forum for "black chicks dating" or something similar I would just fall out of my chair laughing. Yahoo can't be any worse.
Oh and only coz I haven't said it for the past few days, FK Google. I despise them and their bullshit, holier than thou attitude.

fuck off google
i hate this company
they baned me from adsence and adwords

The ads seem to have gotten more "relevant" now. Previously, I was seeing ads advertising actual hats for sale.

Too many sites that google doesn't like nowadays...

Google don't like Blackhat or hacker things.

In Google Adsense section, maybe there're keyword that dectected illegal by Google.

man, just clicked on one of the ads!!! (can't believe it, I never do... but this was just too off-topic - I had to try LOL)

so yahoo seems to pretty stable compared to google - maybe worth a second look for some of my sites... thx
