are you even sure it's gonna be 10k+?
and if I wanted to buy an off the shelf one I would've done that by now

You can also try out for free ezusy. the owners are vietnamese hard working give it ago if you like a SaaS solution.

It's quite cheap also if you start to ship more.

If you want to develop a trash version of oberlo for woocommerce i'm sure I could hack one up in a day.
You wouldn't get anything close to Oberlo's quality but it would work.
To answer your question, I would agree that it would cost you close to $10k to develop such a plugin with legitimate developers.

1. it's not for ae
2. it's not gonna be open to the public

It doesn't sound like you're a dev so I'm not sure if you'd be able to develop one yourself which would be the only way that it would be cheaper than just buying a pre-existing WooCommerce plugin like Oberlo. And even then, it would still be costing you more money in terms of time spent to develop such an extension that wont be available for public use/sale.

I think you didn't understand the main purpose of it, it is to save time and keep things organized in the long term and the money won't be hard to recoup if you know what you're doing

its like asking how much does it cost for a car. you can get it for 500 or 5k or 50k. each price level comes with its tier of problems.

you can hire a freelancer for few hundred/ low thousands and get steaming pile of shit, full of bugs, have to handhold them entire way.

you get what you pay for in these situations. good devs are not cheap and cheap devs are not good. put up listing on your favorite freelance site and see what people bid.

@quantumcore is right around 10k sounds right. Maybe more for "flawless".
You can’t spend $2k on a car and expect GT-R performance. Higher quality workers will cost more. No way to know exact figures until you start interviewing coders. You can leverage hiring people in 3rd world countries but it comes with its own problems. General consensus is only hire programmers in USA/Eastern Europe. If you hire that brown guy for $9/hour your project will never get delivered the way you want.
Have a budget for in cost of updates/upgrades too. Because shopify/aliexpress/dhgate/any site that is being utilized will eventually get an update which has potential to break functionality.

I Planned to develop similar like the plugin and I contacted so many companies for this and all are given the quote for the project starting from $9500 -$10000 and plugin development time approx 6 months.
