Hey guyz,

I was surfing my Facebook today and found many people asking about bitcoin on a technical page.

Anyway, I made a quick keyword research and found good amount of people interested about knowing all things related to cryptocurrency.. buying, mining ...etc

So, I can build a niche website about the topic and bring good traffic of highly targeted people. Now my question is, how to monetize this website?

I have looked for affiliate programs and found none. Any thoughts would be great :)

Problem is, you're a tad late to the party. Some big sites are already created around this topic and so you'll need to have a bit of resources on your site to be able to compete.

Signup for affilaite program for some of those cloud mining sites. Find out the stores which accept bitcoin and also have an affiliate program. There are also a lot of debit cars for bitcoin.. Maybe they also offer affiliate program..

Like I said, I did keyword research, So, I know the competition I am gonna face, and I am pretty sure I can bring some traffic :)

You can use affiliate programs for paxful, localbitcoins.com (https://localbitcoins.com/affiliate/)

I'm sure some cloud mining services have affiliate programs

Amazing, I always find services to recommend then look for their affiliate programs, never the other way around. But, those look like famous and great services I can use. This is the reason for the thread. I am not really familiar with most well-known websites, so, I wanted members help :)

I think someone posted about this topic, build a bitcoin blog and make money of it, ahh yea, I found it!

Yup, this is why I posted asking for most famous websites, best types of monetization and top brands in the niche.

Oh sorry, I didn't realize the intention of this thread was monetization advice.

Too used to all the "how to make money" threads so I assumed this one was one asking about how to make a bitcoin blog and rank it haha!

As for monetization, i highly recommend that you try the method that was shared above. The one where you send users to buy mining equipment as you can get tons out of that since the prices are quite high like the GTX 1070

This. Is your goal it maintain a steady stream of loyal traffic or simply get traffic there and subtly promote your advertisements from within? The market for Bitcoin related blogs still has a lot of growth potential depending how much effort your willing to put into it to come across as authentic. The largest hurdle for these forms of digital currencies is making that transition into the mainstream. People who are otherwise unconvinced use the information on such blogs and websites to help formulate their stance on the issue. It is your goal to seem relatable (in terms of a blog), and make your audience feel as though your journey could very well be theirs. By promoting a realistic and positive portrayal of the process of engaging in BTC and other cryptocurrencies, you help eliminate the stigma and promote the market as a whole by essentially opening it up to an otherwise un-included audience.

But that's more of a passion project, or if you've invested significantly in BTC or some other currency and are aiming to profit from both traffic/advertising, and the potential market gains your blogs positive portrayal may have on new buyers/investors of whom you've enlightened.

Edit: Wow, people jumped on this quick.. And my advice was more general and basic.. just overlook it, you seem to know what your doing.

Edit 2: If your targeting otherwise noobs to the BTC scene, and are set on a blog.. Do an e-book. Lure people in with your exploits and tell them they can achieve it too by following your guide. Throw some backlinks for affiliates in the e-book.. Increase your profit margin.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing the other day. Build a blog and review already built miners like antminers. They go for 1k+ on amazon (they also have cheaper miners). You could also write reviews about exchanges, wallets, guides, etc...

I believe there is are still a piece of the pie you could take on this niche. There are literally millions of people who might have heard "something" about the Bitcoin, some do know it is possible to earn but do not know how it is done. Some know it is possible to pay for products and other things with it, but also do not know how to start or why it is better than PayPal for example. I personally asked tens of people about Bitcoin (both young and old people, they are very active on social networks, so do not think they are some kind of village people without internet connection :) ) and most would be interested to try out Bitcoin, when you say that transfers are free of charge for example. So just find a way to lure them and you will be fine. I liked MaddoxB's idea about the ebook, a noob guide :)

I did not write much about monetization as it could be seen as a promotion or something. If you have a good bitcoin website, you will be receiving offers from all avenues. Different affiliate programs and banner networks are also not hard to come by as bitcoin niche is still relatively small.

Problem is, you're a tad late to the party. Some big sites are already created around this topic and so you'll need to have a bit of resources on your site to be able to compete.

That's not true. You just have to add a bit of creativity now )) I will try to post a new topic about this soon :)

I am glad this post is gaining some traction and there are very good tips here.

My mind is filled with ideas now, and I agree it's still very new niche, and there are thousands of related terms. Keyword research is my strength and I can find good keywords in almost any niche. Moreover, I am very comfortable cryptocurrency the future of money ( once governments find away to tax it :D ) and there is a very big places to exploit :)

Keep ideas coming guyz, this thread looks promising

Side tip: Non-native English speakers have amazing opportunity to exploit this in their local market. Most of the world is still exploring and have no idea what is this.
