Interested in your current progress with this. Ive spent the last hour reading through posts on this thread and attempting to get my head round it and how I'm going to approach it.
Could you expand on the 'script problems'? I must have missed the post explaining those. I don't wanna fail at the first hurdle.
Appreciate your time dude.
So far, I've been just trying to build a following. I started this a couple days ago, and I have over 65 followers. One of my followers is a fledgling Twitter girl herself, she gave me some pics to put up on my profile! I get content with a tweeted shoutout, and she gets followers. All is well.
I dropped a link or two, just to see what would happen and altogether got about 8 clicks, no conversions. It's okay, I expect it to take some time. The money will come.
Instead of looking into the usual black hat ways of doing this, I looked into some methods that would keep my account from getting banned. So naturally, no more scripts. I will follow NO MORE THAN 500 people a day, try to get some user engagement by saying "RT if you like titties" or something else. Don't use more than 3 hastags on regular posts. Oh, and do not hav more than three accounts on one IP. That is a sure way to get banned. However, you can use the free Hootsuite plan, create two other accounts and retweet your tweets from the main account. More exposure that way.
I'm scheduling 10 posts a day, but I might bump that up to 20 here soon. You want to keep consistent with it but you don't want to burst a shitton out in a short period of time. For me, a post every half hour or so should work okay within the timeframe I have for 20 posts. It's gonna be tough, but the few hours you spend scheduling will save you a month of work. You can literally set it and forget it, or prepare yourself for the following month.
Also, check when you're getting the most impressions and tweet more around that time. Integrate short videos as well as pictures. People love media.
By this time, I might have nearly 10,000 impressions, but engagement is trash and I need to fix that. Maximize engagement any way you can and I'll bet you my first commission check from Crak that you will see an increase in followers and conversions.
So, to review:
1.) use one main account and retweet with two supporting accounts. Make those niche accounts too so you can build them long term and get followers. Look at that, three unbanned accounts to put links in front of people.
2.) Follow NO MORE than 500 people a day from related popular niche accounts for targeted traffic. The most recent followers will be the most active. Eventually, you'll start getting followers organically as well.
3.) Post frequently, schedule 10 to 20 posts a day and keep finding content. Give give give. Come up with simple little messages to supplement that foster engagement or make them laugh. Be positive, positive accounts hav more followers. I am actually into my niche IRL, so it's easier that way.
4.) follow Sherbert's plan, put out only one or two affiliate links a day.
5.) play by the rules. Run your game where it doesn't interfere with Twitter's. Get creative at roadblocks.
6.) kill yourself getting content. /s/ and /b/ on ***** are good places to start. Imagefap is another. Hell maybe you'll get lucky like I did and get someone to work with you and give you content. Don't settle for 200 pieces of media. Get 1000. Then get 1000 more. Keep track of the pics you post so you don't replet old stuff.
7.) no more than 3 hashtags per tweet. Studies show engagement drops significantly if you do more than that.
This post was the result of a shitton of reading and research over the past couple days. The biggest piece of advice is TAKE ACTION NOW
