Hi there. So, I harvest links where to post comments on my scrapebox. Then I go post those comments, however, when I visit the links where my scrapebox says that it was successful in posting my comments, for some reason I can't see the comments there. Nada, no comment generated by my scrape box is there. Why is that?

Successful posting is often confused with live link rate. When a link is submitted, it just means it was successfully submitted. Most of the time it will then go to a moderator and must be approved before it goes live. Link links are when the link is publicly viewable on the end site by everyone including search engines. If you post and then check links, the only ones that are going to immediately show up is auto approve links.
In general the auto approve links are a very small percentage of what shows successful, often times 99%+ of links submitted go to moderation, and 1% or less sometimes is what is auto approve. (This isn't a hard fast rule, but if your just scraping and posting, then its a loose idea of what to expect).

So what you are saying here is that if I have a link in my comment, then it has to go to someone approving the comment. However, if I post comments without containing links in them, they will most likely be automatically posted on blogs without need of comment approval from the blog admin.

No not exactly. Most admins set ALL comments to go to moderation, regardless of if it has a link. The default I think in wordpress is if it has 2 or more links to also flag it. So If you put more then 1 link in the comment body, then it may go thru an extra flag and have a greater chance of moderation. But it will often go to moderation no matter what.

Because if a proxy fails, it will list the link as not found, when it might be there.
When posting you need proxies because there may be a complaint and then the proxy takes the complaint and not your ISP.
But when link checking the end site just sees scrapebox as a browser loading the page, and thats the entire reason that the page exists. So there would be no complaint. The only exception would be if you were working with tons of urls from 1 domain and using a lot of connections. Then you could just lower connections, but if you have a nice mix of domains just randomize them before checking links.

I mean technically no. But its slower and even private proxies fail sometimes. So for me its a case of its not better, its subject to potential failure and its slow so why would I use them? But you can if you want.
