Hello, let me first start by saying I know Instagram limits you to 5 accounts per device, but I have also read that it is 5 per IP.

Where I am confused is that if it was truly 5 per IP how would schools, large free wifi locations, etc. be allowing Instagram to work if they would only allow 5? This is where I get the question that is it not 5 per IP but device?

So say if I was to buy multiple iPods/iPhones/etc. to run my accounts would that work the same or would that cause an alert and problem to Instagram?

I plan to have at max 10-30 accounts (already have 5 but need to expand soon), and if I was to buy 2 iPods (where the latest iPod costs about $200) it would be cheaper in the long run.

If you need me to clarify anything please let me know.

It one of everythink

Ip
Number
Sim

That it .....

Use one for everythink to be safe .

So I would be fine using a spare device to load the accounts on?

Sorry it on one device and multipule accounts all with one ip and sim email

You can use multipule devices but diffrent accounts and ip and email number ok

The problem with your theory is that people connect to these schools/shopping malls etc temporarily, plus these IP locations get LOADS of accounts connected daily, like a magnet, can you simulate that? And usually they do not create a lot of activity because of the environment they are in.

I never exceeded 6 accounts per IP but I'm sure your IP will be flagged at some point if you load 10+ that generate alot of activity 24/7.
But then again depends on your use for it.

Gotcha, makes sense.

What if I was to get the iPod and add a VPN to it to use with 5 accounts? Would I be able to do that or would that still be flagged?

The IP rating has more to do with reputation and heuristics than anything else. Instagram may see hundreds of accounts logging in from this one IP address, but the ratio of normal to sketchy activity is high enough that the IP address doesn't flag accounts on its own.

could you expand on this? How could I make my IP rating so that I can run handfuls of accounts of them all running at a "normal" rate.

They would consider a few things about the IP address, like is it allocated for datacenter, business, or residential use? Datacenter and residential will get a lot less mileage on "sharing" the IP address then the business IP address would.

That's the first thing you would want to consider as well, then you would begin warming up the IP address by running one account the first day, two the next, five the next, and so on. If you get flagged accounts and your accounts have not done anything remotely sketchy, then you may be increasing accounts too fast, or you may have discovered one of their hard limits for whichever class they grouped your IP address with.

Also heuristics is about analyzing behavior and detecting predictable patterns. If you are doing the same exact steps each time, that can be classified into a recognized behavior pattern and potentially used against the reputation of your IP address.

Would I be able to log in with 5 accounts, log out of 1 then log in with a new account? Or would this cause the profiles to be flagged.

There is really only one way to find out.

The safe bet would be to gradually increase the accounts over the course of one week, two weeks or even one month.

If you're pressed for time, try to do it over one week.

Example:

Day 1 - 2 accounts
Day 2 - 2 accounts
Day 3 - 3 accounts
Day 4 - 4 accounts
Day 5 - 4 accounts
Day 6 - 5 accounts
Day 7 - 5 accounts

If everything is going well on day 7, then you should be fine.

Spread it out to be safe.. make sure each account has a separate email/number

How about used mobile teatearing to do following, schedule switch ip by different timing ?
if you are not using cpa or not often to do following ,one day 3 mobile ip switch per account should be fine,
in IP we can know it type ,let said if you are using residential ip or mobile ip it can't block ,
reason is every users also using those dynamics IP ,how to block ?
but those ip type label as data center ,that have some risk to be flagged,
That why residential ip is good for used ,now a lot of proxy also using residential ip,
rely on mobile ip actually too exp ,unless you do a good job can cover those cost :)

The more precautions you can afford, the better.

If you are using mobile / residential, and if you are able, use ip to location services and try to use IP's within 50 miles.

Just because a service doesn't geo lock doesn't mean they don't use unrealistic location changes as criteria to negatively affect the accounts reputation.

I'm currently using 6 accounts without using any VPN or any proxies
No probs :)

few account..nothing to think much..but more than 4-5 account all things comes in count...like ip ,sim etc

You can use 20 accounts if you want but if 1 account gets banned and 30 others will look like its doing same identical action they all be wiped, whats better to loose 3 accounts or 30? In school or public place people who log in will be clearly individuals who log in to check for stuff and not following everyone, and they will have many different IPs from home and such.
